Italian side AC Milan made an attempt to sign Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile during the January transfer window.

According to reports, AC Milan even reached an agreement with Badiashile but the move was then blocked by the Chelsea hierarchy.

Sky Italia’s Gianluca di Marzio said: “Milan had an agreement with the Chelsea defender.

“But he then started playing for Chelsea who decided they didn’t want to sell him.”

Badiashile is in his second season at Chelsea after joining from AS Monaco.
