Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has moved to RC Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season.
The deal was sealed on deadline day, and the 19-year-old, who previously spent the first half of the campaign at Nottingham Forest, will now continue his development in France’s Ligue 1.
Santos is also currently leading Brazil’s Under-23 team at the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in Venezuela.
Chelsea fans will be pleased to have promising starlet, Santos, have another opportunity in a top division club, but Strasbourg fans don’t seem too happy with this development.
Strasbourg fans have vented their anger at club president Marc Keller who sanctioned the club’s sale to the BlueCo consortium, and are pissed that the two clubs are now like sister clubs.
