Chelsea’s away form has been questionable for a long time now, and the Blues were again beaten away from home.

Chelsea lost 4-1 to Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night, and five of the Blues last six Premier League away games have ended in defeats.

It is a concerning statistic for the Chelsea head coach, who admits he met it from his predecessors. Pochettino believes he has also solved the lack of confidence at Stamford Bridge which was experienced last season as well.

Pochettino was asked to explain Chelsea’s struggles on the road in his post-match press conference after losing 4-1 to Liverpool.

“I think it’s part of our personality and character,” the 51-year-old said.

“We need to be more confident in ourselves.

“Now we are improving at home. Last season, that was a big problem. Now we need to feel more confidence away from home.

“That is about confidence and trust. We need to have the capacity to have the same performance away from home. It’s a matter of time.”

Pochetino has the capacity to convince us that MURDER SHOULD BE LEGALISED. What’s this excuse of the past all about. Was he not hired to remedy known issues?
