Mauricio Pochettino has reacted to reports linking Armando Broja with an exit from Chelsea this month.
Broja has been a part of Pochettino’s squad since returning from an ACL injury earlier this season.
The 22-year-old has also scored two goals for the Blues so far this season, despite having to play from the bench most of the time.
However, with Chelsea needing to sign a more prolific forward soon, there have been a lot of speculations regarding the future of Broja at Stamford Bridge.
According to multiple outlets, the Blues are open to selling the Albanian in order to raise the required funds to sign another striker, with Wolves said to have had a bid for him turned down last weekend. But if Pochettino’s latest comments are anything to go by, the Chelsea academy graduate may be staying put until the summer, at least.
“I think I was talking last week about that. Look, speculation always,” the Chelsea boss told reporters at a pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
“Speculation and we need to live with that. Nothing to communicate and it is quiet. Everything is so quiet and relaxed here.”
