According to Italian TV outlet Telelombardia via Football Italia, former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to become the new manager of AC Milan, replacing Stefano Pioli.

Conte, who led Chelsea to a Premier League title and Inter Milan to a Serie A title, has been out of work since his departure from Tottenham following a heated press conference.

His return to Serie A management is expected, and he’s also reportedly discussed this move with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the former Manchester United and PSG striker.

Pioli, whose contract runs until 2025, is under pressure with Milan currently third in Serie A.
