Liverpool manager Jurgen has given an update on injured star, Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty for Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Salah left the Egypt camp to return to Liverpool, and Klopp has confirmed that Salah will miss Wednesday’s clash against Chelsea.
Asked about Salah in Tuesday’s press conference, Klopp said: “There was no pressure on him [to return] other than wanting to get fit as quickly as possible anyway.
“We don’t rush. If you could rush the healing process, Thiago wouldn’t be out for 10 months.
“Mo is not ready. Out for this game, out for the next. It could have been worse but he is not available at the moment.”
Salah’s absence will be a big blow for Liverpool, as he has registered 14 goals and eight assists across 20 Premier League games for Liverpool so far this season.
