Three top-half Premier League teams have reportedly shown interest in Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.

With only 18 months left on his contract, Chelsea is considering offers for the English midfielder.

Last summer, Chelsea offloaded several players from their academy, including Mason Mount and Lewis Hall. This strategy helps the club manage Profit and Sustainability Rules, as revenues from players developed in-house contribute to the club’s budget for new signings.

Despite Gallagher’s 28 appearances this season, Chelsea is open to selling him. His value is currently higher than it would be in the summer, when his contract will have only a year remaining.

According to The Athletic, three upper-tier Premier League clubs have already inquired about Gallagher.

While Gallagher prefers to stay at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea seem unlikely to offer him a contract extension.
