West Ham United are plotting a late move for Chelsea defender, Trevoh Chalobah.

This is according to a new report by Football.london.

Chalobah has been injured for Chelsea since the start of the 2023-24 campaign, although he’s now nearing full recovery.

The 24-year-old is however considered surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and could be sold for the right offer.

The Blues value Chalobah at around £40m, which is considered a little too much for a player who cannot even play for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The January transfer window slams shut in just two days, meaning that the Hammers have until then to reach an agreement with Chelsea if they truly want him.

West Ham have signed two Champions League winners from Chelsea in recent years – Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri.
