Jurgen Klopp has revealed that one key player will be available for Liverpool when they take on Chelsea this week.

Alexis Mac Allister was not included in the Liverpool team that beat Norwich 5-2 in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday, but according to Klopp, the midfielder is now set to make it for the Premier League meeting with Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday.

Aside from Mac Allister, the trio of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominic Szoboszlai and Andy Robertson are also expected to be available for Liverpool later this week, with the trio coming off the bench in their FA Cup win against Norwich.

‘It’s good to have players back, Trent, Robbo, Dom,’ Klopp told ITV after the win over the Canaries.

‘Robbo was out for a long time, the other two boys not that long so it was important for all of them to have minutes. That they are back is super important.’

On Mac Allister not being involved in the Cup clash, Klopp stated: Alexis, he only rested today. He felt a little bit, so he is probably ready for Wednesday as well.

‘The next game is around the corner, only three times sleeping and then you play Chelsea here, which is obviously a different game, and then Arsenal away.

‘So we need them all and we need them in the best possible shape. Hopefully we are in good shape as a team and we can be an uncomfortable opponent. Let’s see.’
