Mauricio Pochettino has made it known he’s happy with Cole Palmer.
Palmer, who signed for Chelsea last summer, has been a revelation for the West Londoners.
In 17 Premier League games, the 21-year-old has made 13 goal contributions, much to the delight of the fans.
Palmer found the net twice during Chelsea’s 6-1 victory against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
Pochettino said of the attacker on Thursday: “We are always optimistic when you sign a player. But it’s true he is doing fantastic.
“He’s doing great. I think in the first six or seven months, he is doing a very good job. We are so happy with the impact, with his talent of course, with the way he is performing.
“Always you expect, when you sign a player, that he can perform and improve the team. But I think in the way that he is performing, it’s fantastic because he is helping the team to achieve things that we want.”
