According to a report on The Hard Tackle, Chelsea are keen on selling Kepa Arrizabalaga for €25 million during the summer transfer window.
However, Real Madrid, a potential buyer, are reluctant to meet this asking price.
Kepa, who joined Chelsea from Athletic Club in August 2018 for €80 million, has had a mixed experience at Stamford Bridge.
His performance has been inconsistent, and he has spent part of the 2023/24 season on loan at Real Madrid, stepping in after Thibaut Courtois injured his knee.
During this period, Kepa has made 18 appearances for Real Madrid, conceding 18 goals and keeping seven clean sheets.
Despite Chelsea’s willingness to sell Kepa and the player’s reported openness to lowering his wages for a permanent move, Real Madrid consider the €25 million valuation excessive.
