According to Caughtoffside, Chelsea and West Ham United are set for a bidding war to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s striker Victor Boniface.

The 23-year-old Nigerian international has been in impressive form, scoring 16 goals and providing eight assists in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

Despite currently being sidelined with a serious groin injury, both Chelsea and West Ham are keen on acquiring his services.

Leverkusen is open to selling Boniface but only if their valuation is met.

This situation has the potential to lead to a bidding war between the two London clubs.
