Chelsea were top-notch, as they left no stones unturned in the second leg Carabao Cup semi-final clash against Middlesbrough.
Chelsea were beaten 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium a fortnight ago, but the Blues showed their superiority in the second leg over the Championship side.
As at half-time, Chelsea were cruising to a 4-0 victory, but one Chelsea player seemed off the pace – Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Ukrainian didn’t show up at all, and was hauled off at half-time, with Noni Madueke coming on for him, and also scoring a goal.
Chelsea fans were far from impressed with what they saw from Mudryk.
Football Connesouoir, wrote on X: “Mudryk has genuinely no idea when to go inside vs when to hold width, it’s pretty alarming.”
Daniel Childs, wrote on X: “If an academy player put in display Mudryk is, he’d never see the first team building at Cobham again.”
ExpectedChelsea wrote on X: “Mudryk is a phenomenal talent. The combination of speed and the ability to execute at 100 km/h is breathtaking. He’s a title winning player one day. But his head is so empty. There has been only one player on the left trying to crash the box today and it’s not him.”
Nekoizmase17, wrote on Reddit: “Mudryk would be a good footballer if pitch was 200×100 meters and goals 50m wide, without anyone trying to defend him in 80m diameter.”
