Lyon have reportedly ended the loan agreement they had with Chelsea for Diego Moreira.

This is as reported by French journalist, Fabrice Hawkins.

The development may have been necessitated by Moreira’s lack of success during the past six months with the Ligue One club.

Moreira has played seven league games for Lyon this season, without scoring a goal, and it’s believed that the club are looking to sign a replacement in Arnaut Danjuma.

It has also been claimed that Moreira is no longer training with Lyon, and will now be returning to England early this week.

The Portuguese made one Carabao Cup appearance for Chelsea prior to his move to France, which makes it impossible for him to complete another loan transfer.
