Enzo Fernandez has joked that his Argentina teammate, Emiliano Martinez may actually have something against Chelsea.

Martinez, who currently plays for Aston Villa, seems to always put in his best displays when Chelsea come up against Unai Emery’s men.

The Blues and Villa are set to meet in the FA Cup fourth round next weekend, and ahead of the match, Enzo told ESPN Argentina: “It’s a big deal.

“With Chelsea he always gets bigger, I don’t know what he has against us. It’s going to be special to play against Dibu [Martinez].”

For context, in the last six meetings between Chelsea and Villa, the Blues have lost three of them, drawing one, and winning two, so no, the game will not be a walkover at all, and Martinez always proves to be a strong force.
