Enzo Fernandez is aware that Chelsea have not performed as well as they were expected to from the start of this season, but the Argentine is confident things will get better with time.

Enzo recently had a chat with ESPN Argentina about many topics, including his side’s current form.

The Blues are ninth on the Premier League table after 21 games, and need to gather some momentum if they are to successfully make a late charge for a place in Europe.

Enzo believes the team will eventually blend under Mauricio Pochettino, as he admits that the changes made to the playing squad was much.

Reflecting on his side’s season so far, the 23-year-old said: “We need time, it’s a process with a lot of new players.

“The group came together this year, it isn’t easy to quickly find a good way of playing. But we are doing all we can to find that style as quickly as possible. The day-to-day with Pochettino is really good, he gets very close with the players.

“He is very human and gives us a lot of confidence and ease when it comes to playing. Personally, the first few months were difficult for me – the language, the culture, the weather, it was difficult. Now, as 2024 starts, it’s better, I’m very happy.”
