Brentford boss, Thomas Frank has admitted there’s a slight chance Ivan Toney could be sold this January.
Toney is set to make his return for the Bees after spending the last eight months on the sidelines, following a betting ban.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a potential move to Chelsea.
Asked if Toney could be sold in the coming fortnight, Frank said: “As I said earlier in these conferences, it’s 99% something, that he will stay here but football is crazy, you never know what will happen tomorrow. He’s committed to helping the team, that’s all that’s on his mind he wants to stay here, he wants to help the team.
“No none at all [offers].”
Asked if Toney owed Brentford, Frank added: “In any partnership, you don’t owe but are committed to each other, we’re committed to him, he’s committed to us.”
Toney himself recently made it clear he was open to leaving Brentford for the right opportunity, even though he remains very committed to the club.
