Chris Sutton has vented his displeasure at something that happened at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

The Blues beat Fulham 1-0 at home on Saturday, thanks to a late penalty strike from Cole in the first half.

The win was however somehow overshadowed by some other events, including an incident that involved Mauricio Pochettino taking part in a PR stunt for the upcoming movie, ‘Argyle’.

While the game was ongoing, some individuals were spotted doing a few odd things in the background, like reading a book and brushing their teeth.

Mauricio Pochettino was also spotted with the name of the film in his jacket, and Sutton now seems to think his part in the campaign must have been imposed on him by the ownership of Chelsea.

He told It’s All Kicking Off: “It’s a circus. There’s a couple of things I don’t understand. So Pochettino had the name of the film on his jacket, where has that order come from? It’s okay when you’re winning Premier Leagues and Champions Leagues, that’s fine.

“When you’ve spent a billion pounds and your club is in a bit of a pickle still and way off where we expect them to be. It’s called reading the room Todd.”
