ESPN pundit, Steve Nicol has raised doubts over whether Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez will be scoring goals for Chelsea any time soon.
The Blues recorded a marginal 1-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, and have now moved a place up the Premier League table after the round of match weekend 21.
Cole Palmer netted the goal for Chelsea from the penalty spot after a foul on Raheem Sterling in the opposition box.
Both Palmer and Sterling have received plaudits for their roles in the win, but Steve Nicol appears to have a problem with Chelsea’s midfielders.
The former Liverpool man has highlighted the lack of goals from the Chelsea midfield as a concern, especially from Caicedo and Fernandez, who were brought in for big bucks.
While speaking about the duo on ESPN, Nicol said: “There’s nothing from the middle of the park. Conor Gallagher I don’t think he has a Premier League goal this season.
“Enzo and Caicedo don’t look as though they’re going to be scoring any goals soon. I mean, it’s just a long list of where are the goals coming from.”
thanks for winning
