Fulham manager, Marco Silva has reacted to his side’s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League game on Saturday.

Chelsea edged out their local rivals through a late penalty goal from Cole Palmer in the first half.

However, before the goal, Malo Gusto was involved in a messy coming together with former Chelsea winger, Willian, which left the Brazilian on the ground for some time.

Centre referee, Anthony Taylor brandished a yellow card to Gusto for the challenge, and the decision was allowed to stand by VAR after a quick review.

Silva, however felt the decision was a key moment in the game, and didn’t hold back in his assessment of the officiating in a post-match interview.

“We have to talk about the red card for Gusto, it was clear,” the Fulham manager told TNT Sports.

“It is hard to see how things aren’t consistent at the level that we’re at. This is the Premier league. In 10 of those moments, nine times it is a red card. It is a clear red card for me. VAR checked and this time they didn’t give.”
