Talented dribbler told he should have left Chelsea long ago

Christian Pulisic has been told he might have done himself a lot of good if he quit Chelsea long before he did.

Pulisic never quite reached his peak during his four-year spell at Stamford Bridge, and was relegated to making cameos from the bench before his departure over the summer.

The 25-year-old now plays for AC Milan, where he has done well this season, with six goals and five assists from 17 league games, and ex-United States forward, Taylor Twellman has now praised his recent form, adding that he should have left the Blues earlier than last year.

“I appreciate the fact that Pulisic tried to ‘gut it out’ at Chelsea,” the 43-year-old wrote on X.

“But what if he left Chelsea a year ‘earlier’ than he did? He’s playing so free in Milan right now, it’s actually pleasure to watch.”
