The Chelsea hierarchy are not pleased with the way Mauricio Pochettino has utilised two of the young players at the club so far this season.
This is according to journalist, Ben Jacobs, who says that the players in question are Armando Broja and Levi Colwill.
Broja has mostly played from the bench this season, as was the case during Tuesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final defeat to Middlesbrough.
Despite Nicolas Jackson being unavailable as a result of the upcoming AFCON, Cole Palmer was still preferred to the Albanian up front.
As for Colwill, the 20-year-old has mostly played as a left-back this season, when he is naturally a centre back.
The decision has also been frowned upon by the Chelsea hierarchy, who want to see the players develop, and the club progress under Pochettino.
The Telegraph earlier this week, claimed that the Argentine could face the sack in the coming weeks if Chelsea crash out of the Carabao Cup with another defeat to Middlesbrough when the two sides meet at Stamford Bridge in less than two weeks.
