Chelsea youngster, Angelo Gabriel has revealed he has a likeness for Mykhailo Mudryk.

Gabriel joined Chelsea last year, before sealing a season-long loan move to Strasbourg in the French Ligue One.

The 19-year-old has been doing well for the French club, and there is increasing hope that he will earn a regular place in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad come next season.

Angelo recently opened up about his relationship with Mudryk, who is another player that has also been improving lately, and according to him, the two of them still maintain close contact, despite being miles apart.

In a recent chat with Premier League Brasil, Angelo said: “Someone I really like today is a brother and I miss him, talking and training, Mudryk. I already knew he was an ace. I didn’t expect to make a very quick friendship with him. But when he started talking to me, I remembered that he played for Shakhtar and there were a lot of Brazilians there. He’s a kid with a giant heart. He’s quiet, in his opinion, he doesn’t really like the reviews. You need to arrive, break the ice, for him to feel at ease (…) He is a bit of a Ukrainian Brazilian. He’s a friend of mine, I miss him. We always talk on Instagram.”
