Chelsea midfielder, Frankie Runham has signed professional terms with the club.
The highly-rated player made a name for himself two years ago, when he became the youngest person to score in the UEFA Youth League at 15 years old.
Runham has already trained with the first-team at Cobham this season, and could get his big break in Mauricio Pochettino’s side soon.
Speaking after the 17-year-old signed his contract with Chelsea, the club’s youth chief, Jim Fraser told the official Chelsea website: “We are delighted Frankie will continue his development at Chelsea.
“He has consistently showcased his versatility and quality for our Under 17s and 18s and we look forward to seeing even more as this season progresses.”
