Mauricio Pochettino has been under increased scrutiny at Chelsea over the past couple of months.
The Blues have not seen any real improvements in their form since the Argentine was appointed as manager last summer.
Currently rooted in 10th on the Premier League table, Chelsea also risk elimination from the Carabao Cup after reaching the semi-final stage.
Pochettino’s side succumbed to a surprise 1-0 defeat against Middlesbrough on Tuesday, much to the disappointment of fans.
According to The Telegraph, the 51-year-old is now at risk of getting sacked by Todd Boehly and Co, unless there’s an upturn in the club’s form.
Chelsea will host the second leg of the clash with Middlesbrough later this month, and unless they progress to the final, Pochettino could be sacked from his role at the club.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will get a chance to return to winning ways this weekend, when they take on Fulham in a league game at Stamford Bridge.
