Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is open to backing Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino in the January transfer window and is prepared to sign a striker.

According to Daily Mail, the Blues will target a new striker this January and will also be on the look out for a new left-back.

Chelsea have a strong interest in Napoli’s prolific striker Victor Osimhen, who has a £103million release clause.

The report on Daily Mail adds that Osimhen is opening to joining Chelsea despite only recently signing a new Napoli contract.

However, it is unlikely Napoli will allow the Nigerian striker leave in January.
