Chelsea have had two of their players names in the Team of the Week in the Premier League this week.

The Blues did relatively well over the Christmas holidays, winning three of the matches they played during that time, including games against Sheffield United, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Luton Town.

The only defeat Chelsea suffered in that time was against Wolves away from home, which ended 2-1 in favour of Gary O’Neil’s side.

The Blues’ last game was the 3-2 win against Luton, which saw Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke providing the goals. The former Manchester City man netted twice, and set up a goal for his English teammate.

Their contributions to the win have been recognised, and the pair have now been included in WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Week.

Chelsea’s next league game will come on January 13, but before then, the Blues will play cup games against Preston and Middlesbrough within the space of three days.
