Chelsea have confirmed the return of Andrey Santos from his loan move to Nottingham Forest.
The 19-year-old joined Forest on what was meant to be a season-long loan deal last summer, but it didn’t quite work out as expected.
Santos only managed 97 minutes of first-team football at Forest, with just seven of those minutes coming in the Premier League.
The situation of the player didn’t go down well with Chelsea, who have now recalled him with a view to sending him to a different club this January.
Crystal Palace are rumoured to be interested in signing the Brazilian on loan, but we’re not yet certain of where Chelsea will send the young midfielder.
Santos joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama last year, and did well in pre-season, before he was sent to Forest.
