Cole Palmer sent warning after what he did against Luton Town

Cole Palmer was the Man of the Match, as Chelsea recorded a 3-2 victory against Luton Town last Saturday.

The 21-year-old bagged two goals, and created another, which was finished off by Noni Madueke to lift Chelsea into 10th place on the Premier League table.

However, despite his goals, BBC pundit, Garth Crooks is of the opinion that the attacker wasn’t great all-around during the contest at Kenilworth road.

Crooks, while writing for the BBC, recalled an incident during the game, where Palmer seemed to duck, just as Ross Barkley rose to score Luton’s first goal.

The pundit believes that the goals glossed over a few poor decisions from the ex-Manchester City man, and has now urged him to do better.

“Cole Palmer needs to watch himself,” said the former Tottenham player after Palmer’s brace.

“Ducking out of defensive headers on set plays doesn’t endear yourself to your teammates.

“Neither does suddenly losing touch with the game having scored two goals when really he should have been searching for his hat-trick.”
