Chelsea are expected to this week, take a final decision on the future of Andrey Santos at Nottingham Forest.

Santos joined Forest under Steve Cooper with the hope of developing himself last summer, but unfortunately, that hasn’t quite happened.

The midfielder has been subjected to just 97 minutes of first team action this season, with only seven of those coming in the Premier League.

The Evening Standard is now reporting that Chelsea want to recall Santos from the loan since his situation hasn’t improved despite the managerial change at Forest.

The relegation-threatened club are also expected to co-operate with Chelsea, so as to continue to maintain a good relationship with the West Londoners.

Crystal Palace have been mentioned as a potential next destination for Santos, who is still just 19 years old.
