Chelsea raced into a 3-0 lead at Luton Town on Saturday, with Cole Palmer notching a brace and Noni Madueke also scoring.

However, the Blues nearly lost our lead after conceding twice in the final ten minutes of the game.

Although Chelsea did hold on, Silva – who played the full 90 minutes – was visibly angered at full time, pushing a television camera away after the final whistle.

Explaining his angry mood following the game against Luton Town, Thiago Silva posted on Instagram: “Every professional athlete will always be pushing themselves harder and thinking they can do better.

“In a highly competitive league, it’s the details that secure 3 points. I just didn’t want to spend New Year’s like I did Christmas, sorry”. ????
