Noni Madueke has showered Chelsea teammate, Cole Palmer with praise after the club’s latest Premier League win.

The Blues recorded an impressive 3-2 win against Luton Town on Saturday afternoon, with Cole Palmer and Madueke on target.

Palmer opened the scoring after 12 minutes when he smashed a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner of Thomas Kaminski’s goal. The 21-year-old then turned provider by setting up Madueke for Chelsea’s second 25 minutes later, before grabbing his second later in the second half to make it 3-0.

Palmer’s second strike was a real peach— the winger, played through on goal by Nicolas Jackson, rounded off the Luton goalkeeper before poking the ball into a net full of Luton players after some nifty footwork.

The ex-Manchester City man has now bagged eight goals and six assists for Chelsea across all competitions this season, and Madueke was full of good words when speaking about him after the game at Kenilworth road.

Madueke told BBC Sport: “That’s him all over. He is very composed, very relaxed in goal scoring situations and I’m happy for him. He has done very well since he came into the team.”
