Gusto: Had a brilliant game in the first-half, as he was a steady outlet on the right. Finished the game as left-back. 6/10
Disasi: Very composed in the first-half. Looked a bit nervous in the second-half, as a late Luton onslaught ensued. 6/10
Thiago Silva: Solid at the back, and made sure the young lads didn’t lose their cool, as Luton pressed late on. 7/10
Colwill: Still getting to terms with playing as a left-back. Did okay. 6/10
Moises Caicedo: Bullish in the first half and helped Chelsea pass out from the back. The energetic Luton side seemed to override him in the second-half. 6/10
Gallagher: Full of energy and running. Helped the team dominate play in the first half. Seemed to tire out in the second period. 6/10
Madueke: Brilliant display from the young winger. Scored Chelsea’s second with a brilliant shot into the roof of the net. Always looked dangerous on the ball. 7.5/10
Jackson: Worked hard, was very involved in the team’s build-up play. Played a brilliant pass for Palmer’s second goal. 7/10
Palmer: Brilliant! Magnificent display. Everything revolved around him. Both his goals were brilliant as well. His second goal was extraordinary, and showed his class. 9/10
Broja: Showed flashes of brilliance. But it didn’t really work for him. 5/10
