Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino made Chelsea history with his starting XI for the 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Pochettino made history by naming the youngest ever Chelsea line-up in Premier League history against Crystal Palace.

The average age of Chelsea’s starting lineup against Crystal Palace was 23 years and 21 days which is the youngest-ever lineup in the club’s history in the Premier League and the eighth-youngest lineup overall in the league’s history.

It was also the youngest XI named by a Premier League team since Manchester United vs Crystal Palace in May 2017 (22y 284d).
