Mauricio Pochettino is of the opinion that things are gradually starting to gel for Chelsea after their latest win in the Premier League.
The Blues picked up a 2-1 victory at home against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night after losing their last game against Wolves by the same margin.
The victory at Stamford Bridge also pushes Chelsea up to 10th on the league table, two points ninth-placed Brighton, who have a game in hand.
Speaking after the win, Pochettino hailed his side’s mentality and their competitiveness, and pointed out that their home form is starting to look better.
Pochettino also urged for a stronger mentality from his team.
“We were talking at the end about mentality,” said the Argentine.
“Mentality is about preparing yourself, competing in the best way, knowing the Premier League is really tough. That is where we want to be consistent, it’s a big challenge.
“We are starting to build our run of winning games at Stamford Bridge. The last year or year-and-an-half the results were not so good, so it’s so important to win in front of our fans.”
