Frank Leboeuf has backed his former club, Chelsea to record a slim win against Wednesday’s Premier League opponents, Crystal Palace.

The Blues succumbed to a disappointing 2-1 loss against Wolves the last time they played a league game— their third defeat in their last four.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have been without a win since November, and will be keen to take a scalp from Chelsea when they lock horns at Stamford Bridge.

It’s a game that Mauricio Pochettino’s men need to win if they’re to ease the mounting pressure on the Argentine, and Leboeuf thinks they will get maximum points, even if it will be a marginal victory.

The former Chelsea man also backed Christopher Nkunku to score again, telling ESPN: “1-0, Nkunku goal. Thank you very much.”

Chelsea have a good record against Palace, and have won all of their last 12 meetings. Anything short of this could plunge the club into a darker place.
