Chelsea centre back, Axel Disasi has bemoaned the team’s lack of proficiency in front of goal, insisting ‘it’s not good’.

The Blues suffered yet another setback in their quest to secure European football this season, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Wolves at the Molineux on Sunday.

Not only was the loss Chelsea’s eight in 18 Premier League matches this season, it was also their fourth consecutive defeat away from home, and this is despite them creating numerous chances.

According to Opta, Chelsea have missed more big chances than any other side in the league this season— a stat that Disasi finds very worrying.

“When we see this statistic and our position in the table, it’s not good,” Disasi reflected.

“We have to be more killer in front of goal. We created many chances. But it’s not just about scoring, it’s also about conceding less and keeping clean sheets.

“Every training and every game we are growing and learning, we have a lot of new players, but it’s not an excuse. The quality is here.

“I know the feeling now is bad because we didn’t succeed, but we have to stay together. We have to take a rest now because we have a lot of games coming.”
