Wolves star, Matt Doherty has praised his teammates and their coach for their display in the 2-1 win against Chelsea on Sunday.
Doherty came on as a substitute in the second half to score the second goal for Gary O’Neil’s men after Mario Lemina had put them ahead in the 51st minute.
Christopher Nkunku later scored for Chelsea, but Wolves hung on to claim the maximum points.
Doherty later said: “The change was very important because I managed to nick a goal at the end. I’ve been doing that all my career, being in the right place at the right time so I just put it away.
“The kind of atmosphere that’s generated around the stadium. Our record against top six teams is good.
“We’ve beaten most of them here and away. We’re doing really well.”
