Chelsea have endured a very tumultuous year.

Not only have fans seen their favourite club have three different coaches in 2023, they have also seen them underperform time and again, despite the incredibly huge amount of money that has been spent to bring in what is believed to be some of the best talents in football.

Chelsea’s latest outing in the Premier League was met with a disappointing 2-1 loss when they faced Wolves at the Molineux. Even more frustrating is the fact that Mauricio Pochettino’s side created some chances, and definitely had no excuse to not have found the back of the net more than once.

According to Squawka, that defeat is the 19th that the Blues have suffered in the Premier League this year alone, and it makes Chelsea the club with the most losses in 2023.

To put things into perspective a little more, Chelsea have played about 37 games this year, and lost more than half of them. It is an embarrassing stat, and one that needs to change soon if they’re to avoid getting into a relegation battle.
