Former Premier League goalie, Ben Foster has named the team he’s backing to come out on top in the clash between Wolves and Chelsea on Sunday.
The Blues will pay a visit to Gary O’Neil’s side for the rare Christmas eve game, having won their last two at home.
Wolves were beaten 3-0 in their last outing, and will be eager to get back to winning ways, which makes the afternoon fixture an interesting one.
According to Foster though, Chelsea have a much-younger side than Wolves, which will likely work against them, and he is now predicting a win for the home team.
He said via the That’s Football YouTube channel: “This is a really tough one to call. I’m going to go home win. I think Chelsea have got too many young players that will look at it and say, ‘we’re playing on Christmas Eve, away, at Wolverhampton.’ And they’ll have the hump.”
Interestingly, Foster isn’t the only pundit that’s doubtful of Chelsea’s ability to win Sunday’s game, with the likes of Paul Merson, Dimitar Berbatov and Chris Sutton all going for either a home win or a draw, but we hope that the Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Newcastle on Tuesday will give the Blues the needed confidence to go on and pull off a surprise at the Molineux.
Coach is singing daily that he will start with Nkuku, where is he now coz Jackson will only take us to relegation???
