Mauricio Pochettino has shared an update on Chelsea captain, Reece James.
James recently underwent a surgery to treat his injured hamstring.
The 24-year-old has suffered recurring injuries on his right hamstring, and is now set to be out for some time, as he begins his recovery journey.
“I think he feels well,” Pochettino told reporters about the England right-back on Friday.
“As we are talking, he has started his recovery. He is one day closer to be with the group.
“I think this is really positive. We are all really positive around him. We are all going to help him in the best way. And of course, it is always tough for a player that has a very complicated season, a very difficult season.
“It is about to recover. As I said before, it is one day less to be part of the group and we are going to take it in a positive way. The most important thing is to start to solve the problem, to help him be strong, be positive, because that is a very important thing.”
