Enzo Fernandez has showered praise on Chelsea teammate, Raheem Sterling, describing the attacker as a ‘very tricky’ player.
Sterling joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022 after conquering the Premier League with Manchester City for many years.
The 28-year-old has no doubt had his struggles, but his talent is never in question, and this season, he has shown what he can do on several occasions. The former City star has 10 goal involvements so far.
Having worked with Sterling at Chelsea for nearly one year, Enzo is very aware of the attacking threat the England international carries, and highlighted this when he recently appeared on the Premier League’s official YouTube channel.
He told the platform of Sterling: “Sterling is very tricky… Yeah he’s really fast. It’s true that he’s very good in one-on-one situations. We always try to get the ball to him cleanly so he can isolate himself 1v1 which is what he’s best at.”
Sterling is surely one of the most feared attacking players in the league because of his direct nature, as well as a knack for arriving in the box in the most important moments. Sky Sports man, Jamie Redknapp recently spoke about this special skill that the winger has after Chelsea’s Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Newcastle United, while urging teammate, Mykhailo Mudryk to borrow a leaf from him.
