Sporting Lisbon boss, Ruben Amorim has warned Chelsea that Viktor Gyökeres is not going to be sold in January.

Chelsea are being linked with a winter move for the former Brighton striker, who has netted 16 goals this season.

The Blues are looking for a more potent player in front of goal, as Mauricio Pochettino aims to make a push for the top four.

Chelsea are also expected to send scouts to watch Gyökeres play against FC Porto on Monday, but Amorim insists the 25-year-old will only be sold if they receive an offer that meets his €100m release clause.

He said at a press conference: “He will only leave if someone pays the buyout clause in January.”
