Conor Gallagher has admitted he needs to improve on his goalscoring ability.

The 23-year-old has improved massively on how he reads the game, and is arguably the most hardworking player at Chelsea at the moment, but goals remain a challenge for him at Chelsea.

The England international captained Chelsea to the 2-0 win against Sheffield United on Saturday, where he even mustered some shots at goal without success, but he insists he will get better in that department.

He said in a post-match interview: “Of course, I want to score goals and that’s something I want to add to my game this season.

“It’s frustrating that I haven’t scored yet this season but as long as I’m helping the team to victories, then that’s all that matters. I’m sure the goals will come soon!”
