Romelu Lukaku will likely be joining the Saudi Pro League in the coming months, rather than make his transfer to AS Roma permanent, according to new reports.
The Belgian joined Jose Mourinho’s side on loan in the summer after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku has done well with Roma this season, and there were talks of a £37m permanent transfer next summer, but it is now believed that the player is considering a big payday, and may have already secured an agreement with a club in the SPL.
Speaking recently on the player’s future, journalist, Fabio Santini told TVPlay: “Lukaku? A flashback with Juve is difficult because he has already said yes to a millionaire proposal from Saudi Arabia.
“I say to Roma fans that at the end of the year, one thing is certain: Romelu will leave.”
