Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he still has the support of his employers at Chelsea, despite the challenges the Blues have endured under his management.
Chelsea are 12th in the Premier League after 16 matches, with 14 points now between them and the top four.
There have been calls for a change of management at Stamford Bridge, but Pochettino is confident he still has a job because the owners still trust in what he is doing.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Sheffield United on Saturday, the Chelsea manager told reporters: “The communication [with the owners] is the same from the beginning of the season, when we were in pre-season to today. But no words in football. The most important thing is being here.
“If I am here it is because they trust. If not in the moment that they stop to trust, don’t worry you will see not me here.”
