Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has made five changes to the team that started the 2-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.

Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic makes his first start for the Blues, replacing Robert Sanchez who suffered an injury in the defeat to Everton.

With full-backs Reece James and Marc Cucurella also ruled out due to the injuries they picked up last week, Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill return to our back line, alongside French duo Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile.

Pochettino chooses a midfield three of Conor Gallagher, Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer with Enzo Fernandez dropping to the bench.

In attack, Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Nicolas Jackson start for the Blues.

Among our substitutes is Christopher Nkunku, being named in the squad for a competitive fixture for the first time, after suffering an injury in pre-season.

Chelsea: Petrovic, Disasi, Thiago Silva, Badiashile, Colwill, Gallagher (c), Caicedo, Sterling, Palmer, Mudryk, Jackson

Substitutes: Bettinelli, Bergstrom, Gilchrist, Gusto, Maatsen, Enzo, Matos, Nkunku, Broja
