Moises Caicedo is one of the Chelsea players who have come under the microscope for underwhelming performances this season.
The Ecuadorian joined Chelsea from Brighton in the summer after catching the eye with his impressive displays for the Seagulls.
The Blues paid a whopping £115m to sign the midfielder, smashing the British transfer record in the process, but they’re yet to see him at his best.
Caicedo has also acknowledged that he needs to do better, and now promises that fans will get to see his very best will form soon.
“The old Moises will be back and will continue to triumph and give a lot of joy to Chelsea,” he said (as quoted by Fabrizio Romano).
“I’m calm because I knew moments like this would come and I need to remain mentally strong. Pochettino always supported me”
It’s a good thing that Caicedo knows he can do better than he’s currently offering, and that is usually the first step to recovery.
