Mikel Obi has shared a piece of his mind on Chelsea star, Conor Gallagher.

Gallagher captained Chelsea in the 2-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday after Reece James was subbed off with an injury.

The 23-year-old and his teammates couldn’t salvage anything for the Blues, and Mikel was furious right after the match.

The Chelsea legend said on the Obi One podcast: “He’s a decent player. Is he a Chelsea midfield player? Starting 11?

“Back in the day when we were playing would Gallagher get into the starting 11? No chance, I don’t think so.”

Mikel made 372 appearances across 10 seasons at Chelsea, winning two league titles and the UEFA Champions League.
