Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Manuel Ugarte has revealed he has no regrets choosing PSG over Chelsea.

Chelsea appeared to be favourites to sign the Uruguay international before PSG snapped him up last summer, and he has now claimed that he was focused on signing for the French giants after speaking with Edinson Cavani.

“I discussed PSG with my compatriot (Edinson) Cavani. He told me about the atmosphere and the fans,” the 22-year-old said, as quoted by tribalfootball.

“I am 100 percent convinced that I made the right choice.

“For me, PSG is something very special. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that I’m here because I never imagined coming to such a big club. I enjoy it all to the fullest.”

Ugarte has made 11 Ligue One appearances this season, picking up two assists in that time.

Chelsea however, have Cole Palmer, who already has double that tally in their ranks, and we’re sure they don’t feel bad about missing out on Ugarte.
